Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information V0IDLUA (“we”, “us”), a private, independent project operating the website v0idlua.com and its obfuscation service, collects and how we use it. Questions: [email protected].
This is the authoritative English version. We are an individual operator, not a registered company. This document is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
1. What we collect
- Scripts you submit for obfuscation. Your script is sent to our server, transformed into a protected build, and the result is returned to you. Working copies are deleted right after processing.
- Optional script sharing. The obfuscation form has a “Send script for improvement” option. When it is enabled, a copy of your original (un-obfuscated) script is sent to the developer (via Telegram) and kept so we can improve the service and diagnose problems. You can turn this off for any build before obfuscating.
- Support requests. When you contact support we receive the email address you provide, your message, and technical data used to prevent abuse: your IP address, a device identifier stored in a cookie, and a basic browser fingerprint (derived from settings your browser exposes, such as language, screen size and time zone).
- Email verification. To confirm you own the email address you enter, we email you a short verification code. We store the code briefly (about 10 minutes) to check it.
- Cookies and local storage. A device identifier (used only for abuse prevention), your language preference, and cookies set by our bot-protection provider. See “Cookies” below.
- Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, timestamps, request info) kept for a limited time for security and rate-limiting.
2. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service — obfuscating your scripts and delivering the result (performance of the service you request).
- Security and abuse prevention — rate-limiting, blocking bots and spam (our legitimate interest in keeping the free service working for everyone).
- Support — answering your requests using the email you provide.
- Your choice — the optional “Send script for improvement” sharing happens only when you leave it enabled.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Third parties we use
To run the service we share the minimum necessary data with:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, network security, and the “Checking your browser” / anti-bot check (Turnstile). See Cloudflare’s policy.
- Resend — sending verification-code and support emails. See Resend’s policy.
- Telegram — the developer receives support tickets and shared scripts as private messages. See Telegram’s policy.
4. How long we keep it
- Obfuscation working files — deleted immediately after your build is produced.
- Scripts shared via “Send script for improvement” — kept only as long as useful for improving the service and resolving issues, then deleted.
- Verification codes — about 10 minutes.
- Support messages — kept while we handle and follow up on your request.
- Technical logs — a limited period for security.
5. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary storage: a device identifier for abuse prevention, your saved language, and cookies our bot-protection provider sets to verify your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
6. Where data is processed
Our server is hosted in the European Union (Netherlands), and our providers may process data in other countries. By using the service you understand your information may be processed in these locations.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete your personal data (for example, a support message or a shared script), or ask questions about this policy, by emailing [email protected]. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
The service is intended for developers using it for authorized purposes and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
